Bianca & Grant // Los Angeles Wedding

You probably remember the sunrise Malibu engagement session that I was swooning over around this time last year. Bianca & Grant happily woke up before 5:30am last fall, and I’m so glad they did, because it was absolute magic. We grabbed coffee and breakfast afterward (because you need caffeine when you wake up with the sun), and 4 sips into my coffee, they asked me to be their wedding photographer.

Well, that day was August 26th…and almost two weeks later, I’m still on cloud nine from shooting one of my favorite weddings to date.

The day started with the stunning and calm bride-to-be telling my second shooter and I to help ourselves to snacks and water (because she read my blog articles on dehydration and not taking care of myself while working, hahahaha!). The “getting ready” hotel room was filled with rose gold bar cart accessories, which pretty much set me up for my favorite detail shots of all time.

The room was filled with dancing, laughter and babe rosé, of course.

From a “first look” on the classic bridge of the W Hotel to the artistic+chic reception at the Fig House, it was a perfect day, and I hope they enjoyed every minute of it.

Their love has been an inspiration to me — the kindness, compassion, and genuine care they have for those around them. Bianca & Grant are two of the sweetest, most considerate clients I have ever encountered, and I’m looking forward to many more early morning coffee+breakfast dates to come. I can’t wait to see how the rest of their adventure unfolds. It’s going to be beautiful.
