Style-On-A-Budget: Dress Your Date!

They say that trust is crucial in any relationship. But would you trust your boyfriend or husband with choosing your wardrobe?!

When date night rolls around, I tend to flood the floors with clothing options and try on at least 6 potential outfits. Yes, after 3 and a half years of dating and 2 months of marriage, I still can’t decide what to wear (it never gets easier, girls).

You see, all I want to do is look beautiful for my guy…and decision-making isn’t really my thing when it comes to fashion for date night. My husband and I actually love shopping for one another. We both enjoy style, and have similar taste, which makes us trustworthy when it comes to picking things out!

Today, I will be sharing our date night styles, mixed in with some pieces that we chose for each other!

Steal My Look:
White Dress {My husband got me this dress, and it is so comfy and elegant! Spring is the perfect time to swap your usual little black dress for the little white dress!}
Tiffany Blue Sweater {I actually got this sweater from TJ MAXX the day before my wedding to keep my shoulders warm to go with my strapless wedding gown!}
Black Gladiator Sandals {These are my go-to shoe when I don’t want to wear heals. The white dress has a Greek vibe to it, so the shoes pill the Greek goddess look together! They are Material Girl brand, found at Macy’s.}
Classic Tote {This bag is the best. It is simple, fits all my necessities, and matches everything. Vera Wang for Kohl’s.}

Jewelry Close-Up:
I got the lovely turquoise ring on my honeymoon in Mexico, and the simple, dainty mid-ring is from a cute boutique in Hollywood called Native (and it was only $4!).

Steal Nathan’s Look:
Beanie {I got Nathan’s beanie from H&M. It is perfect for bad hair days, chilly evenings, or just to add that pop of style to a simple outfit!}
LA Printed T-Shirt {I also got Nathan’s t-shirt from H&M. What can I say, it’s the best for affordable fashion!}
Black Jeans {Black jeans can dress up any casual outfit…and they look so good!}
Button Up {Adding a neutral colored button up as an over shirt quickly dresses up a t-shirt!}
Black Shoes {Nathan loves his black Toms, and he actually wore these in our wedding!}

Steal My Makeup:
-Eyes: Revlon liquid eyeliner for the top lids, ELF mineral eyeliner for the bottom, and Loreal waterproof mascara for the lashes.
-Lips: MAC lustre Charis-Matic lipstick {Nathan actually picked this color out for me!}.
-Face: MAC mineralize skinfinish natural powder, topped with ELF contouring blush & bronzer. {Budget beauty tip: when you return 6 of your MAC compacts from powder, you get a free lipstick!}

Get creative, gain some trust, shop together, and have a fabulous and fashionable date night!
