The Color Green

“Be praised for all Your tenderness by these works of Your hands.
Suns that rise and rains that fall to bless and bring to life Your land.
Look down upon this winter wheat and be glad that You have made.
Blue for the sky and the color green that fills these fields with praise.”

-Rich Mullins, The Color Green

Happy St. Patrick’s Day, friends! Be festive, wear green, and don’t get pinched. I enjoy being festive, and this morning, my husband and I are listening to Celtic music, wearing matching shirts that say “I’m
only here for the shenanigans”, and doing all things green.

This was my Papa’s favorite holiday, and I have a good feeling he is having his green beer in heaven and dancing around.

Skip the green beer and go for a green smoothie this morning with the recipe below 🙂

Shamrock Smoothie

1 cup of Greek yogurt
1 handful of spinach
1 handful of kale
1 banana
1 avocado

Blend, drink, enjoy, turn on some Celtic music, and be green.
