Twos-Day: Two Are Better Than One

Image

My dog, Abby, is happier with her friend, Mr. Beasley.
ImageMy fiancé has two fish, Lois & Clark, who love gazing at each other.
ImageAs most of you already know, I am newly engaged to the man of my dreams. In the midst of the excitement and bliss, I quickly realized that we are not in a generation that values marriage all that much.
As I look at today’s culture, it is extremely difficult to find a true picture of what a healthy relationship look like. Instead of being at a loss or moping about it, I’m taking matters into my own hands.

Because I truly believe that two are better than one, I will have a post each Twos-Day with relationship wisdom from incredible women who know first hand how to make a marriage work!

Whether you are dating, engaged, or married, tune in each Twos-Day for ideas, tips, and wisdom from women who can help us gals navigate, and translate, men!

This past weekend, I had the honor of getting to know Chrystal Hurst at an intensive in Colorado. She is a truly incredible woman who carries herself with grace, poise, and ideals. Chrystal shared some wisdom with me, and now I am passing it along to you!

(The sound quality isn’t amazing, as this was just a fun, impromptu interview that Chrystal was sweet enough to do in the midst of a house full of women! Listen closely and enjoy the wisdom.)

This is amazing. I couldn’t agree more that our generation doesn’t seem to value marriage and God has really placed a passion for educating myself and others about this area of life. Thank you for starting this series. And for your blog in general. It is sooo amazing…as weird as it sounds I feel like if we lived closer you and i would totally be friends, ha!
